For the typical symptoms of a Bladder infection, I took D-Mannose from Swanson Vitamins 700mg capsules. My regimen was - 3 capsules 4X per day for three days. Then days four and five took - 3 capsules 3X per day. Day six - 2 capsules 3X per day until 60 count bottle was finished. I also drank several glasses of water everyday. By day three after following my regimen above no more blood in urine

This is a life saver for people with recurrent UTIs. It is very effective with no side effects Take one teaspoon daily ( melt in water) It will prevent your UTIs
