I am somewhat active for my age (67) cycling, golf, and walking - but had a heart attack 15 years ago. I'm nervous about long time use of Simvistatin, and am trying Policosanal.

My cholesterol levels where rising and my doctor said he was going to put me on medication for it. So I began taking Policosanol and it raised my good cholesterol and my doctor is happy with that and so am I.
