I used a salve purchased from a local person who also creates essential oils. It was labeled "yarrow" and I assume also contained olive oil and possibly honey. I used it on a wound from possible cellulitis. The area which had previously been closed almost immediately began to burn and ooze blood and fluid. I have returned to my m.d. and now am taking a course of antibiotics. it not

I collect wild yarrow to use throughout the year for cramps, migraines and general colds and flu as well as to treat bladder infections. I find it very effective. I make tea with tea with the flowers and leaves and also use the ground leaves for stopping the bleeding of wounds.
