Without health coverage for a period of time due to unemployment, I had to search for alternatives and came across ample evidence (online) that many, many folks report respectable decreases in blood pressure by drinking two glasses of Hibiscus Tea per day. Add me to the list of people reporting this success! I steep 5 bags of the tea in two cups of hot water. Remove the tea bags after a half hour

I have tried drinking looseleaf hibiscus tea. I used to drink very diluted hibiscus and saw little effects, but recently tried to concentrate the tea and see a dramatic improvement in the systolic blood pressure --15 points. my diastolic has not improved.

My friends bring me dried hibiscus flowers from Sudan and I make tea and drink it during the day. It is sour,so I add cranberry or apple juice for sweetness.I take prescription medication ,but sometimes my blood pressure goes out of control and hibiscus in such cases is very helpfull,as well as hawthorn berries and fresh garlic.

I have been using the hibiscus tea for about a year now .It really works.The Doctor wanted to put me on blood pressure medication but I refused.Now I take my tea&keep stress under conrol.Thank God I am doing well!
