I have used horseradish and horseradish/vinegar blend for various ailments for over 50 years. the primary being sore throat, stuffy nose and sinus infections...one teaspoon on the tongue, waith for taste to disappear and instant relief. second time horseradish has worked in diminishing nasal congestion and upper respiratory symptoms. Works great for me as soon as symptoms appear... 1 heaping teaspoon 3 times a day... using Kelchner's Horse Radish.

Had a small amount of horseradish sauce (western wasabi) on sushi. Cleared my sinus blockage better than anything else I've tried, including pharmaceutical solutions.
