    I had a void area at the nail bed of my middle finger, right hand. Joint lubricant was leaking into the void area, swelling to a painful point that prevented sleep.

    I'm using a manufactured comfrey cream. So far, about 6 weeks as needed. I have permanent nerve damage-postherpatic neurology upper back, shoulders, neck, and down right arm to fingers. I was surprised when the cream actually backed off the pain substantially - to the point where I could function free from "pain-stress."     I've been using it for 10 days now and I don't think threr is any differences , mi toe is still swollen and feels bruised inside
