I have a bean allergy. Didn't realize this was another name for locust bean. It would've been nice to know before the stomach cramps began from the allergic reaction.

I have been diagnosed with microscopic colitis and was advised by a friend who suffers numerous ailments to try the carob powder. Yes I did have loose stools each time I ate the carob. But it was alot better than chocolate.
