I live along a river and jewel weed is one of the plants that is easily found here. I use it to take the sting away after coming in contact with stinging nettle. The relief is immediate and lasting. Our whole family uses No Reins Jewelweed Salve and soap every summer and we are all itch free! stops any itching as soon as you put it on It honestly will dry up the rash in a day or two great on bug bites too they sell it on ebay!

I had read Jewelweed would help treat poison ivy. I have been taking leaves and stems and crushing them and rubbing them on the effected areas. Letting it dry on my skin. I rub it in briskly.
