    I have Hepatitis C and have chosen to deal with it thru supplements. I went on Stevia - the liquid form for about 6 weeks and noticed itching on face and neck and upset stomach. I went off it for about 2 weeks and just today tried it just in my herbal tea - I am not experiencing the itching - but I do have an upset stomach after drinking the tea - like the first few sips.     I was diagnosed with "pre-diabetes" and insulin resistance, and have eliminated all forms of sugar from my diet. I switched from Splenda to stevia several months ago, seeking a natural sweetener.     8 year stroke survivor, migraines and lupus. I take 14 medications daily so I'm pretty diligent about researching side effects and interactions. Have gained weight over the years due to perm damage of strokes and the different facets of lupus - am unable to get much exercise. I eat very healthy but need my morning coffee sweetened.
