Sleep better, but gaining weight. have been on almost 3 weeks, stopping for 1 week, the supposed to start again. was hoping to loose weigh, and have more energy. see what happens. also take Biestrogen cream in AM. hope I am doing the right thing.. My progesterone was very low see what happens at my next bloodwork test. in two months. will let you know.

Estrogen Dominance diagnosis nearly killed me. I almost died with insomnia, arrhythmia, tachycardia and almost had a syncopal episode thanks to the crap bioidentical progesterone cream I was given. Come to find out after being told over and over by worthless Naturopaths that I am estrogen dominant. I took a look at my actual ESTRADIOL blood levels done by a MEDICAL DOCTOR and saw that every time I felt like crap my Estradiol was 6 or 10. Wow, low and behold after starting hormone therapy with estrogen I feel 100% better. I am so pissed at all the money I spent on this and my quality of life suffering for months and years. I started to read articles by Dr. John Studd that talked about women being diagnosed with mental health conditions that COMPLETELY resolved after being given high levels of estrogen not progesterone. I believe my postpartum problems could have been totally solved with estrogen as when my menses stopped, I stopped sleeping. I am glad I refused SSRIs. I am also wondering if I am not only completely intolerant to progesterone from hormone replacing therapies but the kind I naturally produce on my OWN as in my Luteal phase I become a complete MESS!! I think so called “Dr. Lee” and his estrogen dominance theory and the Women’s Health Initiative stopping estrogen therapy for perimenopause and menopause completely has ruined the lives of many women like me. My mom even passed away of cardiomyopathy that I truly believe was due to no estrogen and tachycardia for years. Truly despicable.

I take Progesterone orally quarterly during the year (every 3 months) for 14 days to force my body to menstruate, as I'm going through menopause and have been on HRT for 5+ years. My periods stopped coming on their own 10 months ago. The medication does cause me to have a period; however, I hate the way it makes me feel. My periods stopped coming on their own 10 months ago. The medication does cause me to have a period; however, I hate the way it makes me feel. Breast tenderness, and the worst is extreme bloating and water gain all through my mid-section (abdomen, stomach) to the point it's uncomfortable to sit in any position. I can't take a deep breath, I hate taking this stuff. The prescription requires taking one capsule before bed, and it's hard to remember taking a pill in the evening, as I typically take all vitamins, etc. in the morning.
