It has been able to help me down from the 350+ range. Now seldom see 200. Started working immediately for me. I do not take any prescriptions. I monitor blood sugar carefully. I have been diagnosed diabetic for 4 years. I was using prescribtion drugs without much success then I heard about this vegetable. After the first use my blood sugar drop from about 12 to 8. The only side effect I might have developed was a mild belly ache.

I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes in 2005. I'm on Byetta 10mg, Metformin 500mg, Glimepiride 4mg. There have been a few times that my blood sugar was over 200 and I made some bitter melon tea. One hour later my blood sugar was down by 40 points. It seems to be working for me, to lower my blood sugar.

I inject 70 units of Lantus insulin, swallow 2 capsules of Bitter Melon (900 mg each), 2 capsules of Apple Cider Vinegar at bedtime and in the morning my blood glucose is less than 100 at times. I am trying not to use any insulin.
