Back in June, I was diagnosed with Type2 Diabetes and my A1C was 11, my doctor and I were very worried but I told him that I would work hard to get the sugar down with medication and natural remedies (since I am a big fan of natural medicine) he agreed and gave me Metformin 500mg for morning and dinner time. I am Type II, and was having difficulty getting glucose under 160, with spikes over 200. I take metformin and januvia. I added 400 mg morning and evening. It's been about a month, and just a few minutes ago, 2 hrs after eating , bg was 113. I get my A1C done in 2 weeks and can't wait! I have had no side effects. My bg doesn't drop much at all, so the lowest bg reading I've seen

Type 1 Diabetic, chose not to take insulin, have been taking Gymnema Sylvestre for 2 years. As type 1 I've found I need more than recommended dose, no side effects other than increased beta cell levels. Progress is bieng monitored by Diabetes Nurse, my G.P. and Endocrinologist.
