    I have been using Black Cohosh for about 5 months now. The Nature's Way, Premium Extract has been like a miracle for me. I no longer have ANY hot flashes. NONE!! It took about two weeks for me to notice the difference. I had been suffering with hot flashes for about 16 years. I never mentioned it to my gynocologist...silly me.     Having severe flashes - more than 24 a day. Tried Cohosh and it did nothing but make me light headed and make my stomach upset from the pills. Works for some, but not for me. Why do women have to go through this torture? Nothing works to curb the flashes. 3+ years now and I am loosing my mind.

    At age 64, still had hot flashes, night sweats, 5, 6 times a day and night...lowest dose of Premarin did NOTHING, so I quit taking it and just endured the discomfort and sleep disruption for a couple of years. Tried Black Cohosh (540 mg. capsule, once daily) and within 24 hours of the first dose, hot flashes eased considerably and I was sleeping through the night with no night sweats. It surely ...     I have been on Black Cohosh for 6 weeks with absolutely no effect. Waste of my money.

    I took the doctor recommended tablet for menopause and the black cohosh definitely works better.
