I had a severe gastrointestinal problem. Was unable to eat a full meal in 10 months. after eating the actual leaf itself, I ate my first meal just 2 days later. I purchased the leaves from a Farmer's Market.

It was recommended to me to stabilize my blood sugar. It didn't seem to be affective for that. It did lower my cholesterol dramatically. Enough so, my doctor stopped nagging me about it.
