    I used a capsule of Goldenseal Root dissolved in purified water as eyedrops for severe allergies. It seems to have cleared my eyes. I also use it for my dog who has a runny eye. Works well.

    My nausea and upset stomach was out of control like whoah so I needed fast relief. This did the trick!

    Young son split big toe open from under nail, over top of toe to bottom. Took goldenseal root, steeped for 15 minutes, cooled long enough to still be very warm, had him soak his foot in it until it was cool. Did this four times a day for five days, then a couple times a day for two more days. Wound closed on its own starting 1 1/2 days after beginning therapy. Never a sign of infection. Couldn' ...     Chiggers: used goldenseal powder with water; paste rubbed into the chigger lesions; stopped the itching, cut down the redness and swelling.

    I use this in place of penicillin and it works for me. I just have to take 4 capsules a day, Spring Valley Goldenseal extract recommends 1 tab a day.
