used it on my dog's hotspot. cleaned and shaved around the hot spot and applied a few drops of goldenseal root on it.my dog stopped licking and the hair started growing back and that was it. also used it as an eyewash on my cat who had a runny eye which the vet could not diagnose. the eye cleared up after a couple days of use.

I've used golden seal tincture, cream and powder for years for ringworm and other skin ailments for cats (and people) and it works very well. I recently put on an itchy open spot on my skin and it's working well.
