    Since I quit smoking 2-3 years ago, Ive had periodic anxiety, esp since my mom passed away 2 months ago...Scullcap and Tyrosine have helped me a LOT..I DID have to take low doses on Xanax to keep me working for the first month after my mom died, in addition to daily dosing of scullcap Scullcap never made me feel 'drugged' , like Xanax or other anti-depressants/anti-anxiety meds tend to ...     i use gelcaps or tincture. works within ten minutes! good for racing thoughts and especially relaxes muscle tension related to my anxiety. indirectly, helps me sleep better.

    Comment:
    Have used skullcap periodically over the past 30 years, almost always in tincture form. Though it has never eliminated my panic attacks, it has provided great relief from this condition and has never had any negative side effects. Nor do it leave you with that "narcotic hangover" like most anxiety medication.
