    Comment:
Arrow root is also known as nduma (italics) in Kenya and forms a staple food in many parts of the country. I eat it's a tasty complex carbohydrate and it has a soothing effect to the gut in times of diarrhoea. It is also believed to help hormonal balance in women, hence in some communities men avoid eating it.

i suffer with acid reflux mainly due to pain killers I use and every so often I get acid reflux as a rule when I go to bed and what is worst the reflux usually occurs whilst I am asleep , this can be quiet frightening as I have on many occasions breathed in the reflux into my lungs which gives the impression that I am drowning and have to fight for breath so now if I am late taking my pain killers ... Comment:
I use this on my dogs when they get a cut or sore on the skin. Heals it over night. I recently used it on my thumb when I cut out a piece of skin really deep on a piece of metal while fixing my washing machine. It works so well on my cut that I swear I saw it healing while I was looking at it. It took a day and a half to form a scab on it. Amazing stuff.
